A creative strategist, experience designer, and founder of Understory, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. My path to founding Understory has always been guided by a love of meaningful connection between people, ideas, and the places we share. I began my career in marketing collaborating with small businesses, start ups and non-profits in various industries to tell their stories through branding, video, events, and campaigns. Over time, I realized I wasn’t just building assets, I was creating experiences that helped people feel something real. That’s what led me to start Understory: a network of growth-focused creative partners rooted in strategy, storytelling, and human-centered design. I work with brands to help them grow. I also collaborate with local creatives to bring big ideas to life in intentional, grounded ways. Too often, marketing relies on manipulation to drive action. I believe there’s a better way one that prioritizes sustainability, community, and connection. Understory exists to support brands and individuals who want to grow with integrity, tell better stories, and create experiences that truly resonate.
